It's been a hard week, for others....

I am unable to be with them physically but I can pray, sometimes it's all you can do.

My sister, well, to make a long story short and not invade her privacy too much..... If you are ever in Salem OR and need a dentist, ask me where not to go. Unless you like loosing teeth. I'm just saying.

My son, he is fine, but there are those who are not. Thus far his unit was fairly fortunate, no major stuff gone wrong. This week two people and their families lives are forever changed. My son is ok and I am overjoyed, someone else's son is not and my heart breaks for them.

poor thing (your sister). it's ever persons nightmare to have a bad dentist. especially when you're younger and dentists are scary! I'm so very sorry to hear about your sons unit. So scary and heartbreaking. This stupid war...

Oh man... I actually think about your sister a lot. (I really like my teeth...) I think about your son too, but I will pray for him more often. Praise God he's fine and others are too.

I'm sorry to hear that the Dentist Saga continues for your sister. Dumb dentists...

I totally agree with your sentiment... It is wonderful that your son is ok, but I can not even imagine the heartbreak of families who've lost their soldiers. It really is scary. I guess I need to call my sister, and make sure that my brother in law is ok, too.

(man, everything is making me want to cry this morning! even Kelly's dog hero story...seriously, who could abandon a newborn to the elements like that???)

I think being a military spouse and a military mom are the two hardest jobs in the world and you have had both. I would be so proud if nicolas joined the military, but so scared! Just thinking of him doing this makes me want to cry. I don't think I could be strong enough. As for you sister, I hope things get better. I don't know why it's so hard to find a good dentist these days. I'm going to take Nicolas to his first dentist appt here. I don't want him to have the same problems and fears that i do. The dentist is a special Kid's Dentis, so I hope it will go well. By the way, I think he got cuter while I was gone =-)
