Blocks of Pure Green

I love traditional blocks. A few nights ago I decided to make a few eight inch blocks. Practice never hurts. Not wanting to do the math, I looked up a few free patterns. Other people can't to math very well either, so these are not all the same size. I'm not sure I'll ever do anything with them, but that wasn't the point. It was just the process.

My sweet cat is still not feeling well. I'm just not sure if she is going to make it out of this. You Know Who tries to tempt her with toys. I think she appreciates the effort but she just has no energy. I looked over last night and this is what I saw.

Just makes me so sad.

Hours and hours

I need to stop trying to keep track of the hours I have spent sewing these blocks. The good news is, when you finally get a few finished, you really start to see just how spectacular this quilt will be when I get it done, in ten years...... Here is a picture so you can try and see it too. Eight new blocks were born last night. I felt good about that....
